Categories of Membership

In Town and Out of Town Membership

Members are granted voting rights and receive full benefits. In Town and Out of Town Members typically have a solo show on average every 2.5 to 3 years and can participate in an annual Members Group Show.

Other Benefits:

  • Artist representation on Gallery website
  • Opportunities for Artist-led events (e.g. artist talks, panel discussions etc.)
  • Administrative services for Gallery exhibitions
  • Gallery mailing labels available for Member’s Solo Exhibition
  • Gallery exhibition listings in major local gallery guides/maps, online websites and social media
  • Gallery exhibition announcements sent to an extensive email list (currently 4500 recipients)
  • Opportunity to network with fellow artists
  • Eligible to rent gallery space

Requirements:

  • Monthly Dues can be set up on Zelle
  • In Town Members $185 per month
  • Out of Town Members (Out of Town) $255 per month
  • Initiation Fee – $450 (nonrefundable). If requested fee can be paid in two monthly installments
  • Gallery Assistant’s Services for Solo Exhibition: $140/day for 4-week show, Wed-Sat, 11-6, separate payment for after hours reception(s)
  • Artist is responsible for exhibition and advertising expenses related to their solo show along with the following:
  • Announcement of the Exhibition on the Gallery’s website including Home Page Announcement, Press Release and Exhibition Page
  • posting 9+ images, Artist Statement and link to Artist Website
  • Member must abide by the Gallery’s Bylaws, Code of Ethics and all Gallery policies
  • In Town members must participate in the operation of the Gallery through committee work and attend monthly Zoom meetings September to June

Affiliate Membership

Affiliate Membership is open to a maximum of 9 selected artists within and outside the United States. Artists participate in a three-week Annual Affiliates Exhibition and share many of the benefits enjoyed by Participating and Nonparticipating Members with the exception of a scheduled Solo Exhibition. Affiliate Members do not have voting rights and are not required to participate in gallery management, attend monthly meetings or pay an Initiation Fee. An Annual fee of $1345 is due upon acceptance and is nonrefundable. See Benefits below.

  • Annual Affiliates Exhibition will be held in December each year, starting in December of 2016.
  • Gallery Administrative services provided for the Exhibition
  • Email announcements (4500 recipients)
  • Listing in NYC gallery guides/maps, and online websites and social media
  • Announcement of Affiliates Exhibition on the Gallery’s website: Home Slider Show, Exhibition Page and Gallery Press Release.
  • Opening Reception – Affiliate Members are welcome to supplement the Gallery’s reception snacks and drinks.
  • Opportunities for Artist led events (i.e. artist talks, panel discussions etc.)
  • Opportunity to network with fellow artists
  • Eligible to rent gallery space

Requirements:

  • Annual nonrefundable fee of $1345 due upon acceptance. If requested, fee can be paid over three equal monthly installments. Dues must be paid in full before the Annual Affiliates Exhibition
  • Minimal website fee for posting 9 images, Artist Press Release, Artist Statement and link to Artist Website
  • Annual renewal of Membership. Notice of intention to renew must be given two months before annual renewal date
  • Gallery reserves the right to review Affiliate Members renewal
  • Members must fulfill all requirements of the Membership and abide by the Gallery’s Code of Ethics and all Policies which pertain to their Membership

Associate Membership

The Gallery is no longer accepting applications for Associate Membership which will be phased out as of September 2016.
