I graduated from Wright State University in Ohio with a BFA in Painting and a minor in Drawing (Cum Laude). I continued with two Post-Baccalaureate Independent Studies and also received the 2004 Yeck College Artist Fellowship through the Dayton Art Institute in Ohio.
I have had my work selected for 18 solo exhibitions in Ohio and Indiana. My works have also been selected in over 44 national juried and invitational group exhibitions. Many of the jurors who selected my works for the national competitions are members of the National Academy of Design. Here are some of the national juried exhibitions my works were selected into:

My works have been honored with many awards. My works were awarded with Best in Show ($2500) at the Richmond Museum of Art annual juried exhibition in Indiana in 2018 and 2012. In 2013 Stanley Lewis awarded my still life drawing with a Juror’s Award for the Drawing From Perception VII, at Wright State University in Ohio. In 2007 juror Larry Salander awarded my landscape painting with the Robert De Niro Sr. Award for the 71st Midyear National Competition at the Butler Institute of American Art in Ohio.
