Diane Fitch received her BFA in Painting from the Portland School of Art in Portland, Maine, and her MFA in Painting from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. She is Professor Emerita at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, where she taught painting and drawing, and co-founded the University’s studio abroad program in Italy. Fitch’s work has been shown in numerous national and regional one person and group exhibitions.
She lives in Vermont and Maine.
