FIRST STREET GALLERY presents the third season of PopUp: On and Off the Wall which begins in January 2016. The PopUps are held on consecutive weekends with each show running three days – Thursday through Saturday.
Our first two seasons were a great collaboration of artists in a wide range of mediums, 2D, 3D, installation, photography, printmaking, painting and mixed media. Each show highlights a maximum of 8 individual artists and is curated to create a group that is cohesive and complimentary.
Each selected artist is given an opportunity to hang a substantial number of works in one of the shows and is given approximately 14 feet of wall and/or floor space.
There is a $300 fee for participation – NO application fee.
No commission on sold work is taken by the Gallery.
Deadline for submissions is in October of each year.
Please send 3 images of work which you intend to show if accepted. Provide your name, title of the work, dimensions, medium, and year. Also include your personal information: address, phone number, email, web address and resume.
