Patient Garden

First Street Gallery in Chelsea is pleased to present PATIENT GARDEN, a solo exhibition by Artist Leslie Adler. Patient Garden expresses the form and the formless as nature, color and contrast through printmaking sculpture and painting.
Patient Garden consists of a series of same size hand-pulled prints, each with a combination of a black and white form paired with a colorful iconic shape. Some of the pieces include iconography as well. There is a series of a small ceramic sculptures each paired with a hand-made paper object and a pair of complimentary, acrylic paintings on linen. There are a few additional individual interesting pieces such as a geometrically shaped collage framed in red string.

Leslie’s work has been featured in many states in the U.S. as well as in Paris. She has been in dozens of exhibitions and has won several awards for works on paper, painting, and collage as well as photography. Leslie works in a studio across the Hudson in New Jersey at Manufactures Warehouse Village.
