FIRST STREET GALLERY is pleased to present its seventh annual MFA NATIONAL COMPETITION.
This exhibition highlights the vast reach of fine arts teaching throughout the United States. The competition is open to all current and former MFA graduates within the past three years. Our Juror, Dorothea Rockburne is a renowned artist, Guggenheim Fellow, American Academy of Arts and Letters member and Black Mountain alumnus. She is a recipient of numerous awards, whose work is in the collections of The Museum of Modern Art, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Yale University Art Gallery, and The Guggenheim Museum, among many others.
